Ingredients
1/3 cup all-purpose flour1/3 cup whole wheat flour1/4 cup packed brown sugar1/2 teaspoon baking powder1/4 teaspoon salt1 large egg1/4 cup canola oil2 tablespoons honey1 teaspoon vanilla extract1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation
In a small bowl, combine the first five ingredients. In another bowl, whisk the egg, oil, honey and vanilla. Stir into dry ingredients just until combined. Stir in chocolate chips (batter will be thick).
Spread into an 8-in. square baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 20-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars.
