Ingredients

1 cup sugar1/4 cup canola oil2 large eggs1 teaspoon vanilla extract1/2 cup all-purpose flour2 tablespoons baking cocoa1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 cup chopped black walnuts

Preparation

In a small bowl, beat sugar and oil until blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, cocoa and salt; gradually add to sugar mixture and mix well. Stir in walnuts.

Pour into a greased 8-in. square baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
