Ingredients

1 pound (2 cups) butter, softened1-1/2 cups sugar1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar4 large eggs, lightly beaten1 tablespoon vanilla extract5 cups all-purpose flour1 tablespoon baking soda1 teaspoon salt1 pound (3-3/4 cups) chopped walnuts2 packages (10 ounces each) peanut butter chips

Preparation

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Fold in the nuts and chips.

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
