Ingredients

3 navel oranges

4 oz. grenadine

2 oz. Maraschino Cherry Juice

2 packs plain gelatin

4 oz. tequila

Preparation

Step 1Halve oranges and use a spoon to hollow out the fruit. Scoop the flesh into a wire-mesh strainer set over a bowl to drain the juice until you have 6 ounces fresh orange juice.Step 2Set hollowed orange halves in a muffin tin.Step 3In a small saucepan over low heat, whisk together 2 ounces orange juice, grenadine and maraschino cherry juice. Add one pack gelatin and let bloom 30 seconds, then whisk to dissolve.Step 4Pour mixture into orange halves and refrigerate until slightly firm, 30 minutes.Step 5Rinse saucepan and add remaining 4 ounces orange juice and remaining pack gelatin. Stir until dissolved, then remove from heat and stir in tequila. Pour mixture on top of first layer in oranges and transfer to the fridge to fully set, about 4 hours.Step 6Slice into wedges and serve.
