1 package sugar cookie mix, plus ingredients called for on box
Preparation
Step 1Preheat oven to the temperature listed on the brownie mix.Step 2Prepare brownie mix according to the package’s instructions, pouring the batter into the bottom of a well-greased baking dish. Set aside.Step 3Prepare the sugar cookie mix according to the package’s instructions. Take spoonfuls of dough, flatten them using your hands, and place each piece on top of the brownie mix, until it’s almost completely covered. (You may have extra sugar cookie dough leftover; you can bake cookies or wrap in plastic wrap and freeze for later.)Step 4Bake according to the brownie mix’s instructions. You may need an extra 3 to 4 minutes of cook time to ensure the sugar cookies are baked. When you insert a toothpick into the cookie-brownies, the toothpick should come out with just a few crumbs—no goo.
