Ingredients
1/2 c. Cooking spray, for pan
1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients called for on box)
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter, plus more, melted, for serving
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, softened
1/2 c. lightly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. large egg
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. baking soda all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda kosher salt
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
21 Oreos
Chopped Reese’s, for garnish
Reese’s Pieces, for garnish
Vanilla ice cream, for serving (optional)
Preparation
Step 1Preheat an oven to 350º and spray a 12" oven-safe skillet with cooking spray. Prepare brownie batter according to package instructions.Step 2Make peanut butter cookie dough: In a large bowl using a hand mixer (or in the bowl of a stand mixer), beat peanut butter, butter, and sugars until the mixture is light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla, then add flour, baking soda, and salt and mix until just combined. Step 3Press cookie dough into bottom of skillet. Add a layer of Oreos on top and pour over brownie batter. Step 4Bake until a toothpick inserted in the brownie layer is only slightly gooey, about 35 minutes. Let cool at least 20 minutes, then top with vanilla ice cream and drizzle with melted peanut butter. Serve warm.
