2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 pt. cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 tsp. kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

Chopped fresh basil, for garnish

Preparation

Step 1Preheat oven to 350º. Cook salmon fillets according to package directions. Transfer baked salmon to a cutting board and flake into pieces.Step 2Meanwhile, in a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water and drain. Step 3In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, 1 minute, then add tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Add cooked pasta to skillet along with ¼ cup pasta water and toss until nicely coated. Step 4Transfer pasta to a serving bowl and top with flaked salmon. Step 5Garnish with basil before serving.

If you want to prep the salmon from scratch, it’s super easy: Stir together a mixture of melted butter, chopped garlic, and parsley and brush it all over 1 pound of salmon fillets. Season with salt and pepper and bake at 400º until the salmon easily flakes with a fork, about 10 minutes.
