Ingredients

1/3 c. all-purpose flour

2 tsp. sugar

1/2 tsp. baking powder

1/4 tsp. baking soda

pinch of salt

2 tbsp. melted butter, (plus more butter for the pan)

1/3 c. milk

1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

small handful semi sweet chocolate chips

1 banana, sliced

Maple syrup, for serving

Preparation

Step 1Heat a medium nonstick skillet over medium-low heat.Step 2Meanwhile, combine all ingredients except for the chocolate chips and bananas in a small bowl. Whisk to combine. (The mixture will be thick.)Step 3Melt butter in pan. Pour batter into the pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips and bananas slices on top of the batter. Flip the pancake when bubbles start to surface in the center of the pancake, about 3 minutes. Continue cooking until the pancake is cooked through and both sides are golden.Step 4Serve with more chocolate chips, bananas and syrup.
