Ingredients
Cooking spray
1 box white cake mix
1 c. water
1/3 c. (5 tbsp.) melted butter
3 egg whites
2 tbsp. strawberry syrup
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1/4 c. chocolate syrup
3/4 c. heavy cream
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1Preheat oven to 350° and grease a bundt pan with cooking spray. In a large bowl using a hand mixer, beat cake mix, water, butter, and eggs. Pour ⅓ mixture batter into prepared bundt pan. Step 2Divide remaining mixture in half. Stir food coloring and strawberry extract into one half and pour over white batter in pan. Step 3
Stir vanilla and chocolate sauce into remaining half and pour over strawberry batter. Step 4
Bake until a toothpick inserted middle of cake comes out clean, about 40 minutes. Let cool in pan 15 minutes before inverting onto wire rack to cool completely.Step 5Meanwhile, make ganache: In a small saucepan over medium heat, bring cream to a simmer. Turn off heat, then pour over chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl. Let sit 2 minutes, then whisk until smooth. Step 6Pour ganache over cooled cake before serving.
