Ingredients
Cooking spray, for pie dish
1 log refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough (such as Pillsbury)
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
3 large eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
18 Oreos, plus more crushed for garnish
Preparation
Step 1Preheat oven to 350°. Spray bottom and sides of a 9" pie plate with cooking spray. Add chocolate chip cookie dough, pressing into bottom and up sides. Refrigerate while you make filling. Step 2Make Brownie Filling: In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter and 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Let cool slightly.Step 3In a medium bowl, lightly beat eggs, then add sugar, flour, and vanilla. Stir in cooled chocolate mixture and remaining 1 cup chocolate chips.Step 4Pour half the brownie batter into cookie dough crust. Add a layer of Oreos, breaking Oreos in half to create a full, even layer. Pour over remaining half of brownie batter, then top all over with crushed Oreos. Step 5Bake until brownie filling is puffed and sides are beginning to crack, 55 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
