Ingredients
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. quick-cooking oats
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. kosher salt
1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 c. lightly packed brown sugar
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 (14-oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12-oz.) bag chocolate chips
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. kosher salt
Preparation
Step 1Preheat oven to 350°. Line a 9”-x-13” pan with parchment paper and grease with cooking spray. In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, butter, and salt. Cook, stirring often, until melted. Remove from heat.Step 2In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, oats, baking powder, and salt. Step 3 In a large bowl using a hand mixer (or in the bowl of a stand mixer), beat butter, sugar, and vanilla and until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well between each addition. Add flour mixture and mix until just combined. Step 4
Spread about half the cookie dough into prepared pan in an even layer, then spread chocolate filling on top. Scatter remaining cookie dough on top. Step 5
Bake until set and lightly golden on top, 40 minutes. Cool to room temperature before serving.
