Ingredients
2 (8-oz.) blocks cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
12 egg roll wrappers
12 strawberries, quartered
Vegetable oil, for frying
1/2 c. melted white chocolate, for drizzling
Preparation
Step 1In a medium bowl, using a hand mixer, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder together until no lumps remain. Add sour cream, vanilla, and beat until combined. Step 2Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface and place a few strawberries in the center. Spoon about 2 tablespoons cream cheese mixture into a line over strawberries and fold up bottom half and tightly fold in sides. Gently roll, then seal fold with a couple drops of water.Step 3In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil (it should reach 1" up the side of pan) until it starts to bubble. Working in batches, add egg rolls and fry until golden, 1 minute per side. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to cool slightly.Step 4Transfer egg rolls to a platter and drizzle with melted white chocolate.
