Ingredients
1 lb. frozen breaded chicken breast
2 boxes frozen toaster waffles
1/4 c. honey
2 tbsp. Hot sauce
2 c. shredded Cheddar
1/2 lb. bacon
1/4 c. finely chopped chives
Preparation
Step 1Preheat oven to 375°. Spread frozen chicken breasts on baking sheet and bake until cooked through, about 25 minutes. Let cool slightly before chopping into bite-size pieces. Step 2Divide waffles between two large baking sheets and bake until toasty, about 6 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool before cutting into wedges. Step 3Make bacon: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy. Drain slices on paper towels, then break into smaller pieces.Step 4Divide toasted waffle wedges and cooked chicken between baking sheets and toss to combine. In a small bowl, whisk together honey and hot sauce until evenly combined. Brush hot honey mixture onto chicken. (It’s okay if the waffles get brushed with some honey too!) Sprinkle cheddar and cooked bacon on top. Step 5Bake until cheese is melted, chicken is crispy and waffles are golden, about 10 minutes. Step 6Load nachos into a serving dish and serve immediately.
